The Commissioner for Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation (WAPA), Hon. Cecilia Bolaji Dada, at a meeting with the United Nations High Commission on Refugees’ delegation, led by the Head of the Commission’s Field Office, Mr. Ephraim Kabura, stated that the Ministry will constantly ensure that its Mandate of Poverty Alleviation, remains a focal tool for development.

The refugees were promised 20 free skills acquisition trainings, situated across 5 divisions of Lagos State, as opportunities for financial engagements towards economic sustainability.
