ADELUSI, Olukemi Olufunmilayo Mrs was born in Lagos to a Christian family.
She attended St Judes Pry School, Ebute-Metta, St Margaret’s School, llesa and Queen’s School, Ibadan for A. Levels. Obtained BA (Hons) degree (Communication Arts) in 1983/84 from the University of Ibadan and MPA 2001 at Lagos State University, Ojo.
She did her Youth Service at the Akwa Ibom State Television Broadcasting Station, Uyo as a Newscaster & Presenter in 1984.
She joined the Lagos State Teaching Service on 1st September 1987 where she taught English and English Literature in Ewutuntun Grammar School, Mafoluku, Gbaja Girls High School and Ansar-u-deen Secondary Schools both in Surulere. She later transferred into the Mainstream Civil Service as an Administrative Officer GL 10 in September, 1997. She was posted to the then Ministry of the Environment & Physical Planning and later to the Public Service Office, Civil Service Commission, Office of Special Adviser to the Governor on Housing, Office of the State Surveyor General and presently in the Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation.
Mrs Olukemi Adelusi was a Pioneer Member of Oracle Human Resources/ Payroll Global Computerisation Project in the year 2001; she trained Corps Officers manning the various HR Units in the three HR Ministries, namely: Public Service Office, Civil Service Commission and Establishment, Training and Pensions.
She was for over 14 years sustaining the effective and full functioning of Oracle HR/Payroll Module for the entire Service, generating Reports from the Oracle for Executive Policies formulation and implementation. All these led to improved Personnel Management and effective Policy making in the State Civil Service.
She was given Two Letters of Recommendation from Two Past Heads of Service in recognition of her dedication, loyalty, honesty and sense of responsibility in the discharge of her duties She has a cross-disciplined academic training and experience which makes her to be versatile and very invaluable to institutions and organization. She is highly self-motivated and able to demonstrate records of success in chosen field.
She is a team player, with good communication and interpersonal skills, good time management and organizational ability. A Self-confident Officer with attention to detailsand can work under pressure with leadership skills.
Mrs Olukemi Adelusi’s hobbies are Networking, Travelling, Dancing and Singing. She is married with lovely Children.
