Born on the 22nd of September, 1967 in Epe Town, Lagos State, Mrs. Oluyemi Olufolake Aduke attended LKG Primary School, Okesanmi Lagos for her Primary Education and EPG Girls High School Epe from 1978-1983 for her Secondary Education . Thereafter, she proceeded to Methodist Girls High School Yaba between 1983-1985 for her H.S.C/‘A’ Levels from where she proceeded to the University of Lagos for her B.SC Political Science degree between 1985-1988. Between 1988/89 She observed the mandatory National Service and later went back for a Master’s Degree in International Law & Diplomacy in 1990-1991 at the University of Lagos Akoka.
Mrs. Oluyemi ‘s working career commenced in the private sector where she served for 11 years in financial institution (insurance & finance company) working variously as Underwriter and rose to Head, Motor Insurance Unit and Head of Accident & Fire Unit before joining the State Civil Service in year 2000.
However, her voyage into Lagos State Civil Service has seen her working variously in many MDAs at different capacities. Between 2000-2003 she worked as Senior Administrative Officer, GL.10 with Civil Service Commission; 2004-2011 as Protocol Officer ,Office of the Deputy Governor, Lagos State and later became Head of Protocol Department in year 2007 having served ( wife of the former Deputy Governor, H.E Honorable Justice Jumoke Pedro, and former Deputy Governors Mr. Abiodun Ogunleye, Mrs. Sarah Sosan and briefly Princess Joke Orelope – Adefulire).
Similarly, she served as Asst. Director, Department of Local Government Affairs (Ministry of Local Government & Chieftaincy Affairs) 2011-2014; 2014-2015 Asst. Director, Admin. & HR (Office of the Head of Service/Public Service Unit); 2015 Director of Protocol to the first lady, H.E Mrs. Bolanle Ambode (Office of the Chief of Staff) and in 2016 Director, Special Service Home Affairs (Ministry of Home Affairs) and later Director, Skill Acquisition Development Unit , Ministry of Women Affairs & Poverty Affairs.
