MRS. FAMAKINWA IBIRONKE-DIRECTOR, PUBLIC AFFAIRS UNIT

Mrs. Ibironke Famakinwa was born on the 31st day of May, 1968. She attended Federal Government College, Lagos where she obtained her West African School Certificate (WASC) in 1983. From there, she proceeded to the University of Lagos Akoka where she bagged a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History B.A (Hon) in the Second Class, Upper division. She then went to Lagos State University; Ojo to obtain a Master’s Degree in Public Administration. She is also an associate member of Nigeria Institute of Public Relations. Ibironke Famakinwa began her working career in the Banking/Finance industry before joining the Lagos Civil Service in year 2000. She has served in several Ministries/Department; Ministry of Finance, Public Works Cooperation, LASUTH, LASIEC, Motor Vehicle Administration Agency (MVAA). She is currently the Director, (Public Affairs) at the Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation.
